Description | The FBS Support Counselor provides a variety of professional direct care services to children at an entry level with supervision. In the scope of their role, the FBS Support Counselor participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu (cottage or in FBS children’s programs) according to each child’s treatment plan and agency philosophy. As a member of a self-directed team, this position seeks responsibility in fulfilling the team mission and demonstrates initiative, cooperation, flexibility and group problem solving within their role. Requires 2 years related work experience. Must be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma. Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associates or bachelor’s degree in a social science or closely‑related field is preferred. Each year of post-secondary education in a human services field equals one year of experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Montana driver’s license. Starting wage: $11.40 per hour |
