Intermountain is recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse for its Helena residential program. The registered nurse assures the physical health of the children on Intermountain’s residential campus. The position requires the ability to provide pediatric nursing assessments and services to emotionally disturbed children, oversee medication management process and work cooperatively with a variety of agency staff, parents, and community professionals. Ideal candidates possess knowledge of infectious processes and appropriate nursing preventions and interventions, excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills to gather, assess, and report data, provide training and education to staff, update policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively. Understanding of psychotropic medications is desirable. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current State of Montana Registered Nurse license. No shift work, hours are typically M-F, 8-5 but flexible hours will be considered.
