Description | The Day Treatment Psychotherapists plan, review and execute individual, group and family psychotherapy. They provide the clinical direction that guides treatment and provide the teams with a picture of the inner workings of the child and family. Psychotherapists are responsible to ensure that treatment of the children is clinically sound and ethical. They co-lead the family team dynamics staff groups and are responsible to ensure that the groups are professionally and safely conducted. Psychotherapists assure the maintenance of the ethical standards of their respective licensures, accept direction and supervision from those more qualified, and provide supervision to those less qualified. They are responsible to provide in-service trainings on relevant issues in the treatment of children, and may train approved graduate level interns. Psychotherapists provide emergency back-up for impending or emerging psychological crises of children. As members of Core team, they are responsible to collaborate in the maintenance of a sound, respectful and emotionally healthy team culture. Applicant must have a Master’s degree in clinical social work, professional counseling or psychological counseling. Licensed or license-eligible by the state of Montana’s Board of Social Work Examiners and Professional Counselors. If license-eligible, it is expected that a license will be obtained at the earliest possible date. Two years of experience with latency aged children before or following completion of Master’s degree and must possess and maintain a valid Montana driver’s license. Salary DOE; Starting Wage: $39,159 for Unlicensed and $42,500 for Licensed; Includes Benefits |
