Partnership for Children

Partnership for Children

Partnership for Children is a non-profit corporation and is a collaboration between Intermountain and Youth Homes, Inc. This non-profit agency provides therapeutic group carein-home family support services, and therapeutic foster care in the Western Region of Montana with the aim of building healthy, safe and trusting parent-child relationships.

Our therapeutic group care program offers relationship-based care in a community setting. Each of the two therapeutic group homes, Gallagher Children’s Home and Francetich Children’s Home, serve six children, ages 4-12, who attend public school and engage in community- based activities. The children learn to trust in the care and control of safe adults through development of healthy relationships based on attunement, receptivity and play. The children cultivate a healthy sense of self as they gain regulation skills, recognize and build on their strengths, and feel delight in who they are from the adults around them.

Our in-home family support services provide support to families in their homes and community. Our Treatment Coordinators establish relationships with families in their homes, visiting weekly and offering support for parenting strategies that will build trust and safety within their relationships.  Partnership for Children is available for 24 hour crisis support for family care clients.

Partnership for Children also recruits, trains, and licenses therapeutic foster care families. We support all families with on-going activities such as parent/child process groups, community picnics, activity scholarships and quality training opportunities.
