 The Development Officer (DO) plans, coordinates, implements and evaluates a comprehensive friend and fund raising program with donors, volunteers, and prospects to raise funds to support the mission and vision of Intermountain. The DO assumes primary responsibility for selected fundraising projects and personally identifies, cultivates, solicits and steward’s donors and prospects in accordance with goals set by the Development Team. The DO takes a leadership role in creating successful fundraising opportunities for building relationships that support the mission.  The DO models leadership with integrity and accountability and effectively collaborates with the Development Team in the realization of its potential to add to and grow its base of support.  This position has a high degree of exposure and interface with Intermountain’s constituency and effectively represents the mission and philosophy to secure funds to fulfill department goals. 

Ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising and public relations at a not for profit.
