Description | The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for administering a high quality dietary program for the children in the residential program on the Intermountain campus. Applicants must have knowledge of USDA, OPI, and other government rules and regulations that ensure that the food service program meets all accreditation and licensing requirements. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of basic nutrition, menu planning, purchasing food, inventory control, record keeping, sanitation techniques, and safe storage of food. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a variety of staff and community members. The Food Service Coordinator will have direct interface with emotionally disturbed children and must present a high level of patience and confidentiality. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent + education or experience equal to a dietary manager. Position is FT, 5 days/week; no weekends – with benefits. salary range $15.00 – $16.50/hour, DOE |
